Dog urine smell removal from carpet?

My dog has only ever peed on our carpet one time but it seems like no matter what i do i can still smell it. I have used products you can buy at the store, home remedies (vinegar, peroxide, baking soda, plain soap) and i have even steam vac’d. I am renting this house so i cannot tear up the carpet. What has worked for you?

The brand called Get Serious! is really legit… best stain remover i have ever used, plus it’s totally natural!
You can use oxy clean
vinegar– works well and it’s natural
Soap and water with a hint of baking soda
Dollar tree has a urine remover spray. Works well and it’s only a dollar.
i use nature’s miracle, it’s some store brand a white bottle with a red cap, just pour it on all areas of the pee stain and let it sit, it always works for me
I found the most amazing product the other day. It’s an Arm and Hammer spray with Oxi in it. It comes in an orange bottle and I found it in the pet care aisle at Target (the one with all the pet cleaning products). I used it on some fresh stains and the odor was gone. So was the stain and I didn’t even bother mopping up the excess with a towel or scrubbing. It just all magically disappeared! I also sprayed it on a very old VERY bad stain (my dog had diarrhea like last year!) and it came up like magic! You might try it. It worked much better than even Nature’s Miracle for me.
