I was wondering around how much it would cost to buy carpet for my living room.. I live in an apartment so my living room isn’t very big. I haven’t measured it yet, I was just wanting an estimate. Thanks

This porch is not shared with the landlord whom also lives in the building, but she states she doesn’t want anyone smoking on it due to her being exposed to second-hand smoke. Also, she doesn’t like a rug that’s on the porch and demands it to be removed. Are these rules enforceable?
Just an FYI…(since I’ve been asked "why in the world" I would rent a non-smoking apartment if I’m a smoker) I’m not even the tenant whom I posted this question for. I’m a NON smoker who lives in Colmbus, Ohio. Not West Virginia. I’m asking because this is the situation my sister is in, and the laws ARE different due to which state you live in. We’re also talking about an old lady who noticed my sister had a visitor from out of town for 3 days and stated that she "Better not make a habit of that." I wasnt aware that when you rent a place you have to get permission to have over-night visitors. I posted this question hoping someone would have an intelligent answer minus the condescending attitude.

My pantry is carpeted. I had a bottle of Sunny Delight sitting on the floor and it leaked. I did not notice it and I bought it about a month ago. When I lifted it, there was mold underneath the bottle. How can I get this out of my carpet? I live in an apartment and I do not want to pay for it!! PLEASE help!!

I bought my boyfriend a hookah for his birthday and we knocked it over and the coal burnt a couple of places on our carpet. Is is possible to just get the burnt places patched? I would hate to have to purchuse knew carpet for the whole apartment… the carpet isn’t fancy just your regular neutral color. Also anyone have an idea of how much it’ll cost?
Isn’t it possible to get the carpet patched tho? If i remember correctly a girl I worked with a while back had it done.

I juts bought some furniture pieces online and after fitting them together they seem to tilt forward or no apparent reason or fault of my own. They are on carpet – live in an apartment.
Thanks to you both – I am getting the straps as a precaution as I have small kids and will also ‘buff’ the front of the furniture pieces…so thx guys !

I’m looking to clean the carpet in my apartment m, and I am debating on whether I should rent a carpet shampooer or buy one. Let me know if you have any suggestions on a good one please. Also looking to buy a new vacuum does anyone have have a cheap good one they recommend

Alright, so I have been single for at least two years now. I had a nasty break up and after that guy I went straight to college and got myself a job in serving. So YES I AM over my ex boyfriend.
Okay so basically I had a small get together at my Apartment and I invited my best friend and two men. My relationship with one of the men is purely an open and honest relationship. He goes straight to me if he has an issue with a girl, he’s extremely protective with me, yet he is also a huge flirt! He is basically me in a male version. We swap sex stories, we help each other out to get one night stands or if we really want someone we help each other trying to get a certain person. So were close. Well when he came over all four of us drank. The other male ended up throwing up his brains out in my patio and I can NOT stand vomit, so I slammed my hands in my ears. The other male threw his arm around me and his other all of a sudden started playing with my inner thigh (yes, he was sober at this point as was I). I didn’t really acknowledge him doing that so ten min later I lock the male puking his brains out in my patio where he passed out (can’t risk those rugs getting dirty!). My best friend, the male I mentioned earlier and I were all snuggling on the couch only it was more him resting his head on my lap. He hugged me tight until I eventually went to my bedroom where he followed me. I only slept two hours because I had work in the morning but the whole time he held me in such a tight hold, it was caring, soft, and he completely did things with my only a boyfriend would do towards his girlfriend throughout the night.

Here is what happened when I woke up..

He clearly had some morning wood and was obviously pressing up against my back; we were spooning. Well that obviously turned me on so he ended up pretty much humping me. He spread my legs and did the dirty deed with his hands but I moved his hand away so I could go on top of him. I started grinding up on him and it started to get hot and heavy in the room. He rolled me over and started to bite my neck and he LOVES his getting bitten so I did the same to him. He moaned! More then once. Anyway, he let me undo his belt and I could have sworn we were going to have sex, he even placed my hand on his well endowed ‘snake’. I went to kiss his neck and out of no where he said "No." He completely got off me leaving me panting and he kissed my cheek like eight times quickly then a long kiss on the forehead. I looked at him with my expression baffled and he just half smiled.. and went back to snuggling me. WHAT THE F!!!!!!!

We never kissed on the lips that night, we only kissed one time about two months ago so maybe he didn’t want me.. What’s your input on what this might mean PUH-LEESE. I really like this guy now.

This really messed with my mind, I miss being held like that and how he does it makes my heart sink. This is really toying with me. He loves A class skinny girls and I am not in that category and if I lose weight it’s going to be for me, not for some poop hole man.
This is not me trying to write an small ‘porno’, this is in fact a real situation that has taken place and is honestly confusing. It’s driving me insane, in all honestly I’m happy we didn’t but it makes a girl wonder why the sudden urge to say no; makes me feel like I did something wrong :/

I bought a carpet cleaner at walmart, but i need the detergent to go into it to clean up puppy odors and stains. They are house broke now, but I can not stand the smell of dog urin in my apartment anymore. I need something pet friendly and safe since I am renting. Help please.

I keep my bathroom and closet doors closed because I don’t want him to go in them, but he’s taken to scratching the carpet right in front of the doors! I bought this spray stuff called "scratch not" and it doesn’t seem to be doing a thing! Any other ideas?
I’m NOT going to have him declawed. He’s an indoor cat but I feel like that would be really inhumane.
putting him outside isn’t an option either, as I live in an apartment complex.

I have two rugs that didn’t cost me a thing – they were handed down by my mom – but with three dogs in my apartment, they are now disgustingly covered in pee and smell. I don’t have a steam vac, so my boyfriend and I took them both to the car wash and power sprayed/ scrubbed the heck out of them. Now, it almost seems like the rugs smell worse and if I don’t get them cleaned for cheap soon, I want to get rid of them!! Any ideas for where to take old rugs for recycling? Or another trick to get the smell out?

What color should we get for our couch and tables. We are moving into an apartment with white walls and light gray carpet.

We were thinking about putting a big black area rug down, and getting bright red couch/chair and top it off with sikver/black glass tables with silver lamps on them. What do you think.

We’re moving out of our apartment, and unfortunately the light beige berber carpet came unraveled at the threshold of each bedroom. Can we buy a matching swatch of carpet and cut it into place and how can we get it to look as seamless as possible? Also, what tools and supplies do we need? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
