Hitting my knee on my desk when I get up from my chair, stubbing my toe, tripping on the area rug or down the stairs, banging my hand on a chair or a doorway while in a hurry… I
never seem to see that it about to happen,until after. Maybe, I just don’t pay attention where I’m going? But, I always seem to have bruises on my arm, elbow and knees. I just don’t keep track of how they get there anymore. I not always clumsy. I usually don’t drop things and I have good balance. It seems that I lack the ability to move around safely in both personal and general space.
Any advice, comments, suggestions?

I bought this rug at Salvation Army, just intending to use it as an area rug. It was folded and clipped on to a hanger, so I did not see the full design, and just thought it was a small area rug. When I got it home and laid it out, I thought immediately that it was a muslim prayer rug. I think it is a nice little rug, but if it really is a prayer rug, I don’t feel right about using it. Can someone identify if it is one? Here is a picture of it; the date on my camera is wrong; I just took this picture about 15 minutes ago:

I am putting in light oak wood flooring, and painting the walls white w/ purple trim. I plan on having a accent wall too with purple swirl design with metallic flakes in it.

I already bought brown/burgandy leather sofa and loveseat with recliners.Now I need a wallcover,area rug,in tables and accesories.

I will be buying a zebra print area rug for my teenage daughter’s bedroom in the near future. Only problem is, she wants a lime green zebra print. If I buy a white & black print, how do I make it the color she wants?

I’m moving to a new house soon and am planning out my bedroom. The room has dark faux wood (laminate) flooring, and neutral beige colored walls. Because i’m not a big fan of flooring in bedrooms i bought a stylish area rug!

Instead of buying an area rug for hundreds of dollars, how would it work if I got a half-moon of this fabric: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?CATID=cat2143&PRODID=xprd944110 and placed it under my bed? Any drawbacks that I’m missing? I know it won’t be nearly as sturdy of long-lasting as a rug, but it certainly will be easier to clean!

And does anyone know what I should do to get it cut in that shap/who I should take it to? I don’t have a sewing machine, but I’m willing to pay to get the fabric hemmed.

living room and bedroom furniture? I need to buy: sectional sofa, coffee table, bar, kitchen table and chairs, artwork, area rug, queen size bedroom set, mirrors, etc. How much do you think I can expect to spend? And should I finance or pay in full?

Our Morning room size is 11′- 5" x 14′ – 4". We have a 4 seater table. Want to know what size of Area rug I should buy for that size room.

Also appreciate if you can throw some tips on where I can get area rugs for less.

two old white wicker chair chairs in front of one cozy burgundy couch over a large area rug with burgundy and beige which match the throw pillow on the couch and the seat cushions on the chairs. Wicker side tables and one wicker coffee table with a glass on it. In the corner of the room, a flea market purchased rattan and black iron bistro table with a black iron chandelier over it.

What color should we get for our couch and tables. We are moving into an apartment with white walls and light gray carpet.

We were thinking about putting a big black area rug down, and getting bright red couch/chair and top it off with sikver/black glass tables with silver lamps on them. What do you think.
