My brother recently moved out, and his carpet was atrocious. There’s embed stains all over. Im currently trying vinegar and hot water, as the store bought cleaner isn’t working. What are some other tricks and tips to getting embed stains out of carpet?

The cat closed the door to the room of his litterbox accidentally and we didn’t discover it until after he decided to use a magazine on the floor of the office as an alternate location.

I cleaned it up and luckily the urine had not really penetrated to the carpet. However, even though I couldn’t smell it, the cat could. The next day, he re-used the exact same spot, but peed directly on the carpet. Since then, we’ve shut the door so that he has no access to the room and I’ve bought this "natural" cat urine cleaner that seems to have taken out the smell and stain. I’m going to shampoo the carpet too.

I’d like to keep the office door open. My question is what can I do to prevent him from doing it again? The cat has never had an accident before and is in good health.

I just bought a house and can’t afford to update. The living room has a 70′s mustard/gold carpet and I would like to spruce up the room. Any suggestions?

We’re moving into my grandparents old house, and they are heavy, heavy smokers.
We’re looking for a way to get rid of the smoke smell from the carpet mostly. But also the walls and the curtains.
Is there any way to get rid of the smell by not masking it? Like not using fabreeze, air fresheners, candles, stuff like that? Oh and also stuff you can buy at the store, not order it online.

My pantry is carpeted. I had a bottle of Sunny Delight sitting on the floor and it leaked. I did not notice it and I bought it about a month ago. When I lifted it, there was mold underneath the bottle. How can I get this out of my carpet? I live in an apartment and I do not want to pay for it!! PLEASE help!!

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of mites from carpet and furniture? I don’t know what kind of mites they are, but I’ve noticed bites from them on both me and my caged pet rat (we just moved into a new place about a month ago). I bought a bunch of sprays and such, but I was wondering if anyone had anythnig that specifically worked for them? Thanks!

My mom bought liquid shine shoe polish from aldo and she got it all over the carpet in room and she can’t figure out how to get it out. It’s really stuck in there. Any ideas ASAP would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought a car that has had water damage to it. I need to thouroughly dry out the carpet and then treat it so that mold doesn’t grow and it doesn’t smell.

I bought it from the dollar general its called Love My Carpet. It says wait a few mins but I don’t think thats long enough. how long do you keep it on for?

One of my friends just bought a house. She just noticed that there’s a stain on the living room carpet. Well, we’ve both tried to clean it with various cleaners and solutions. But the damned thing won’t come out. It looks like it might have been caused by someone stepping into something (mud or poop, maybe?), stepping on the carpet, and then not trying to clean it until it was too late to easily remove it.

Any advice?

The carpet in an elderly friend’s hallway – high traffic area – is very dirty. What is the best way to clean it without buying/hiring an actual shampooer?

My daughter is just starting to get the hang of moving her legs to creep / crawl. If I put my hands on the bottoms of her feet, she can move herself, but without my hands she is struggling to push off to move forward. Her little legs are going, but she just isn’t getting the hang of it yet. I know in time she’ll figure it out, but what is the best surface for me to have her on to make it easiest for her legs and feet to push off? Right now, she is on a flannel quilt on top of our carpet (it protect her from rug burn and our carpet from droll and spit up). I’ve heard that hard floors are too slippery. What would you recommend? And I also have her in a long sleeve onesie so her legs and feet are bare.

I bought my boyfriend a hookah for his birthday and we knocked it over and the coal burnt a couple of places on our carpet. Is is possible to just get the burnt places patched? I would hate to have to purchuse knew carpet for the whole apartment… the carpet isn’t fancy just your regular neutral color. Also anyone have an idea of how much it’ll cost?
Isn’t it possible to get the carpet patched tho? If i remember correctly a girl I worked with a while back had it done.
