Looking for info on rugs safavieh, home dynamix rugs, oriental area rug, gabbeh persian rugs and more?

Hi there.. I need some advice with colors that I should be picking for my living/dinning area. I am planning to give a traditional look.
Color of walls: Off-white
Floor: Tiled and off-white
Color of Sofa: Beige microfibre
Color of Center Area Rug:Traditional design with Red-Beige-Green
Dinning Table: Traditional design w/ rust metal
End/Center Tables: Mahogony wood & rust metal.

There are 4 very large windows in the combined living/dinning area of my house and colors picked will play a major role in defining the room and moods. So I am highly confused about picking the curtain color. I feel dark shades will make the room look small and i am not sure about lighter shaded curtains as everything else has light shades. If there are websites which could be of help, please post them as well. Any sort of advice will be highly appreciated.

I’m redecorating my whole room. But the problem is, the colors I like seem… not likable to some people I know. I was thinking of having an all white theme, as in white bedsheets, white rugs, white chairs, etc. But everyone says they will get dirty. I don’t know, what colors do you think I should pick?

I’m into a classic vibe, but I don’t want to have black bedsheets or anything. Vintage is okay too but they seem hard to find in stores. I don’t really want to order on-line, I prefer to shop in stores.

The office looks great, rich dark red walls and creamy off-white trim. The desk in there is black with a cherry top. We also have a cherry bookcase. What colors should I incorporate in the rug, wall art, blinds, etc? I am buying all of that new and want to compliment the dark red while not making the room any darker. Thanks.

I’m planning on redecorating my room this summer to something kind of like Victoria’s Secret Pink. Right now, it is decorated ‘flowery’ and I would like to redecorate it to be more fun and colorful.

I’m planning on painting my walls. So far I have thought of having one wall painted with thick pink and white stripes. Maybe another with light green polka dots, and im not sure about the other walls… ideas?

I’m also not sure about how to change my furniture. My bed is wrought iron and I was thinking about just painting it white since I don’t want to spend much on buying a new one. My dresser and nightstand are wooden and I’m not sure what to do with them. If I painted them, would the paint look bad?

Also, my room doesn’t necessarily have to have the words "Victoria’s Secret Pink" anywhere or match exactly with how the store is decorated. I just really like the colors they use.

If you have any ideas, please let me know. Ways to set up my furniture, colors to use, things to put on walls, lamps, pillows, rugs, comforters, anything!

Yep, the colors in the blinds and the rug are the same. There is a wood floor about 1.5 feet between them.

Hi, I am stationed in Germany and Im redoing my bathroom. So please keep in mind I am limited to stores, God I wish for a Wal-mart or Target. Okay so im wanting to do my bathroom in lime green, but I need 1 or 2 more colors to add in with it. Im having a hard time finding all the geen stuff that I need. I have a rug and shower curtain , but no toilet seat cover or towels. I really cant use white because i have 5 kids and it would get way to dirty. Please help with colors that would compliment the lime green. The green is really bright so I think they would have to be the same, im not sure. I am moving into a new house and have a beige color wall and carpet. What are my color options to buy a leather sofa. Would also appreciate if someone can help me with curtain and other colors to add as I am not very good at doing this.

Can anyone tell me where to buy an inexpensive modern looking beige or like dark reddish or mix of both colors area rug?

Okay, so I have some ideas:
I think I want to colors to be lavender, pink, and a soft green. Are those colors too young for 14?
I was thinking that the walls could be lavender, and then I could find a green bedspread and accent it w/ some colorful pillows. I was also thinking that I could get a green beanbag to put in the corner (there is a purple chandelier over that corner…I thought it would look kind of cool) and a rug w/ either all 3 colors on it or pink (in the center of the room). Also, some wall decals like the ones in PBTeen might look cool… And finally, I thought that it would be awesome if I could find some pink/green drapes to hang over my windows…
Is all of this a good idea? Tell me what you think!
Oh, and if you have any other suggestions about colors, furniture, or accessories/accents of some kind, I would appreciate it. Also, some cool stores to buy this stuff from…? Thank you so much anyone who answers this!!

Hi im looking for this look of a rug, i would go any wider stripes but not thinner. im looking for like 5 by 7 area but this is really exspensive im looking for like 0 and under!! sorry its hard but im bad at this stuff haha

My living and dining room are one room. (not a huge room) I bought an area rung which I would consider classic. It has about 9 rows of different color rectangles ( beiges, golds,browns, and burgundies) with a beige border for under my dining room table. I saw another rug with basically the same colors but with more burgundy. It has bigger rectangles that are all different sizes. Some are big stripes and not in any particular order. It is hard to describe. Can I put them together? One in the living room and one under the table? From the end of one to the beginning of other there would only be about 18 inches? Thanks

I am buying a 6 bedroom house and I am going to re-do everything. Where do I get ideas on choosing the right colors and where do I buy everything? Its actually a tri-plex and I want them all to be different.

The couch is white and there is a wingback chair that has a navy floral pattern on cream and a smaller traditional wingback in sage. I have a map of Cape Cod on the wall, in black and white. I thought of having a nautical theme, for instance seahorse and shell pillows but I don’t know what colors. I guess I should look at a color wheel and maybe I should stick with patterns and floral as the room isn’t really that nautical except for the map. The rug is an oriental, should I match the pillows to this. There is a wooden footstool with a yellow stripe fabric on the top. I just feel nothing really matches and I’m just dealing with odds and ends. I was also thinking of getting a navy slipcover for the couch. I don’t have enough money to hire a decorator, I’m just trying to do this myself. Thanks for any suggestions.
