Looking for info on rugs safavieh, home dynamix rugs, oriental area rug, gabbeh persian rugs and more?

we have 2 cats. we adopted them from a shelter 3 years ago. they get along well, but we can’t break them from scratching different surfaces.

the male: scratches couch arms, under doorways, and sheer curtains
the female: scratches rugs/carpets and window sills in an attempt to pull herself into the window

we have expecting our first baby and don’t want the cats wrecking the nursery by clawing the glider, decorative rug, curtains, and window sills. we have tried consistently for 3 yrs to use:

- citrus-scented spray on the furniture made to detract cats
- reprimands
- pet gates (they jump over them)
- trimming their nails

we don’t want to have to leave the door closed, because i want to be able to hear if the baby is crying (without always lugging the monitor around). also, if my hands are full with the baby, a cat will easily be able to squeeze in while i open the door and enter. if there is a gate and i’m carrying the baby, i’ll have to juggle baby while trying to undo the gate one-handed.

i don’t want to send our cats back to the shelter. any suggestions?
our contract from the shelter stipulates that we won’t declaw the cats because it is inhumane. i also researched it. it’s expensive (00+ per cat) and requires multiple anti-infection treatments every day for a month.
we tried dbl-sided tape on the kitchen counters and spray bottles. neither worked. the tape didn’t both the male enough to get off the counter and neither did the bottles. the female was easier to correct, but the male is very big and stubborn.

Alright, so I have been single for at least two years now. I had a nasty break up and after that guy I went straight to college and got myself a job in serving. So YES I AM over my ex boyfriend.
Okay so basically I had a small get together at my Apartment and I invited my best friend and two men. My relationship with one of the men is purely an open and honest relationship. He goes straight to me if he has an issue with a girl, he’s extremely protective with me, yet he is also a huge flirt! He is basically me in a male version. We swap sex stories, we help each other out to get one night stands or if we really want someone we help each other trying to get a certain person. So were close. Well when he came over all four of us drank. The other male ended up throwing up his brains out in my patio and I can NOT stand vomit, so I slammed my hands in my ears. The other male threw his arm around me and his other all of a sudden started playing with my inner thigh (yes, he was sober at this point as was I). I didn’t really acknowledge him doing that so ten min later I lock the male puking his brains out in my patio where he passed out (can’t risk those rugs getting dirty!). My best friend, the male I mentioned earlier and I were all snuggling on the couch only it was more him resting his head on my lap. He hugged me tight until I eventually went to my bedroom where he followed me. I only slept two hours because I had work in the morning but the whole time he held me in such a tight hold, it was caring, soft, and he completely did things with my only a boyfriend would do towards his girlfriend throughout the night.

Here is what happened when I woke up..

He clearly had some morning wood and was obviously pressing up against my back; we were spooning. Well that obviously turned me on so he ended up pretty much humping me. He spread my legs and did the dirty deed with his hands but I moved his hand away so I could go on top of him. I started grinding up on him and it started to get hot and heavy in the room. He rolled me over and started to bite my neck and he LOVES his getting bitten so I did the same to him. He moaned! More then once. Anyway, he let me undo his belt and I could have sworn we were going to have sex, he even placed my hand on his well endowed ‘snake’. I went to kiss his neck and out of no where he said "No." He completely got off me leaving me panting and he kissed my cheek like eight times quickly then a long kiss on the forehead. I looked at him with my expression baffled and he just half smiled.. and went back to snuggling me. WHAT THE F!!!!!!!

We never kissed on the lips that night, we only kissed one time about two months ago so maybe he didn’t want me.. What’s your input on what this might mean PUH-LEESE. I really like this guy now.
This really messed with my mind, I miss being held like that and how he does it makes my heart sink. This is really toying with me. He loves A class skinny girls and I am not in that category and if I lose weight it’s going to be for me, not for some poop hole man.

I bought a used couch form a very nice family I know. I of course rented a rug doctor and shampooed it before using it. One of the decorative pillows smells like armpit body odor on the corner (must have been the one that someone put under their arm). Febreeze has not worked, any ideas for me to try??

I just bought a beige couch and I think I am going to get a black and beige zebra print rug. I have a black big screen tv and will get a black coffee table. what color walls should I do? Currently the walls are a lighter beige than my couch. Will this look ok or should I go with a different color to add some boldness to the room?

My puppy will be 2 months old in 10 days. She is very mean and bites everything. Not playfully biting like crazy bitting where she doesn’t let go and breaks skin. I give her toys to play with, when she starts biting I quickly replace the appendage with a toy but she ignores the toy and goes for the hand/foot. She pees and poops everywhere and occasionally on rugs and bad places. I held her nose over it and spank it and yell no and bring her to the place where she is supposed to poo/pee, but still she is bad. I recently bought a "Keep Off" spray so that she wouldn’t go on the couch anymore but instead, she licks where ever it is sprayed. I do not want her like this.

What should I do?

He’s really being aggressive and won’t stop tearing at the clothes I’m wearing. He tries to bite the couch too and does it to the rug, but he needs to stop biting peoples hands and stuff. He’s got real sharp and big teeth already.

Someone said to say "Ow!" or make a yelp but that hasn’t done anything but made it more crazy.

I don’t have any real good chew toys but I think the stuff is decent enough. Like he can chew a sock instead of tearing at my pants or sweatshirt. I got it like a stuffed squeak animal which I think would be just as good as the pants or anything else.

How long are you overprotective of it for?? For example when you buy a nice new couch how long do you cover it with rugs incase other peoples children come over and put sticky food and snot all over it?
When you buy a new TV or phone how long do you leave the clear sticker on the screen?
I was just wondering. My things only stay protected until the newer item comes along and then thats the new IT for me. I am very careful of anything that costs more than 0 though because I like my things to be perfect and if they get wrecked I have to buy new ones.

i have a house cat and he never gose outside, well we have a 14 month old baby and has been around him since shes been born,and it doesnt seem to bother her. i mean i know they bite but if they were going to hurt her in anyway we would have known already. ive done the flea baths and everything. i just hate seeing them jump around on the couch and rug. we have hard wood floors but the only rug we have is a area rug in the living room. what should we do?

My dad and I haven’t gotten along for a long time. I’m 15, he’s 58.

I’m stuck at home all day everyday because they moved me and hour away from all my friends to a town where all the people are ridiculous, spoiled bitches. I won’t have friends here.

Anyway, my dad works night shift, and instead of sleeping in his bed during the day, he sleeps on the couch for no apparent reason. and he won’t leave the living room. I called my mom to tell him to leave, and she told him to, and he jsut said "Fuck you" and "Don’t you dare call her again" and turned around and went back to sleep.

I said "I will dare call her again" and went back to my room, called her but she was in a meeting. Over an hour later, I went back outside, and asked what he changed the Netflix password to. And he said "You’re such a little bitch, I was sleeping soundly and you just come in ehre and woke me up. What’s your problem?"

I said " You slept all night, you can wake up for 2 seconds to tell me the password, you don’t even have to leave for work for 7 hours" He reached down on the ground to get something to throw at me. I basically dived into the hallway and I have rug burns on my knees and hands.

I don’t know what I do to make him so angry. He’s fine around my brothers, but they’re living back where we used live since they’re in college. And he was never like this when they lived with us.

What do I do? And no, I can’t talk to him about it. Obviously, he won’t listen.
He’s never hurt me, on purpose. I don’t see why I should wait to ask him for a password. It’s not like I was telling him to move again..

And how is he not wrong? I’m confused.
Also, it’s my Netflix account. I pay for it. He shouldn’t have changed the email and password in the first place.
This all happened during the day, and he’d just slept for 14 hours. In fact, the only reason he went to sleep today is because I wanted him to move.

And how am I being spoiled by wanting to know the password to MY account, that I pay for?

I have a sage green couch (sectional) and I have black tables and entertainment centers. i would say the walls are a dark beige color and the carpet is tan and area rug has cream/offwhite color with some redish and green colors to it.. I am trying to find some curtains for the windows and some pillows that would go with it.. what are some of your ideas. I am going to be using a black rob for the windows so i need some ideas for the colors to use Thank you so much.

I have a scratching post with carpet base and a round carpet-covered thing I bought. She only occasionally scratches the base of the post. It’s usually the couch and recliner chair she ends up scratching.

We have a dark beige microfiber living room furniture set (couch, love seat, and recliner) that we bought a year ago and it now needs to be cleaned. I know that microfiber is prone to water marks, so I am wondering what the safest, most effective way to clean it would be. We own a Rug Doctor steam cleaner with an upholestery attachment and upholesterly cleaner, but I don’t dare get the microfiber material wet. Any ideas?

I have an Olive green Faux Suede couch. I am trying to find a colors for the walls and for an area rug. The living room merges with the dining room which has an Ivory and Cranberrry red scheme. I need colors that will flow from the living room to the dining room thank you.
