Looking for info on rugs safavieh, home dynamix rugs, oriental area rug, gabbeh persian rugs and more?

anyone know where you can buy green building products, especially interior finish products (tile, flooring, carpet, etc.) in the seattle area? any one stop shops like Home Depot/Lowes that are green?

I can’t search for it because i don’t know the correct word for it. I have used carpet/tile dividers, floor strips… PLUS it will be a BIG help if you could list a site that sells it in plastic or a place to buy it. (home depot?)

what’s the thickest, most cushioned type of pad I can buy and where do i get it. the typical stuff at home depot, and even at the carpet store, doesn’t cut it.

Lowes or Home Depot’s 9 "whole house" installation is a bit steep for just one bedroom. Is there somewhere I can buy a leftover piece of carpet from a larger job? Should I hire a handy man to install it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We have hardwood floors all throughout the upstairs of our house. We’d like to put a large rug or carpet that covers a good portion (but not all) of our 13 month old’s room. I’ve checked overstock.com, lowes, wal mart, target, and home depot. Anyone know of a place that sells them for a reasonable price? Something similar to those rugs for college dorms?

I hear it is dangerous to do and Home Depot won’t tear up my pee ruined carpets because of that. Do any carpet installers tear up pee ruined carpets? If not, why exactly? What do I do? I plan on buying new carpets soon, but I want the carpet installer to tear up the old carpets! Thx!

the room is 13×10 (130 sq. ft) and the Shaw brand carpet I want is .99/sq ft. at Home Depot.
How much would it cost total to buy carpet and have it installed?

In other words, when you buy wall-to-wall carpeting at Home Depot, and they install the carpet and the padding under the carpet, what company makes their padding?

I only need about a foot or two of carpet. 1×1 or 2×2 can i do this at home depot or something?

My husband is not the BEST handyman but is very intelligent and could probablly figure it out on his own in how to lay it to save $’s.
