Looking for info on rugs safavieh, home dynamix rugs, oriental area rug, gabbeh persian rugs and more?

When I am trying to change the power supply, or trying to change the graphics card, do I need to unplug the pc? Also, when I wear a wrist strap do I have to change the stuff on the tile or on the rug? I am buying a computer and upgrading it but I am afraid to upgrade it because I might mess it up and I spent a lot of money on it. Thank you!
Oh and when you wear a wrist strap on say the right hand, can you still use your left hand to?

Some friends and I were playing Texas Hold’em, and we decided instead of playing for money we would play for dares. Well I lost a very huge hand against one of my friends. She now has the full rights to makeover my room. She needs a little help. She already has decided to paint the walls pink and throw glitter on it while it’s wet. She would like ideas for lighting, rugs, bedding, chairs, and all around bedroom decor. Links would be appreciated.

i just moved into a new house and the old owner spilled fabric softener on the living room carpet and didnt try to clean it. i scrubbed it with a cleaner called pets n kids. my mom said the stain might wick (come back up to the surface) and it did. about a week later it looked like i hadnt even touched the stain. i dont have the money to replace the carpet now that bought the house. what can i do to remove the old stain and ensure it doesnt wick again?

My carpet is 8 yrs old. Its dirty, I already hired some professional carpet cleaners but the dirty color is still there. It was a Cream color before, now its like brown-ish or something like that. Any suggestions? I do not want to buy new carpet, I dont have the money for that right now.

Just when I thought things were going great my manager dies and I have no job. I atleast managed to save three hundred and twenty seven dollars. Enough to board a plane to Hollywood and become an actress but not enough for living expenses until I find work which would be difficult at sixteen. Approaching my home I could hear loud music and the sound of laughter. Entering my smoke filled home I saw that my mom was playing cards with her husband and another couple. A bottle of expensive champagne sitting on the table. My mom was wearing a brand new outfit as well.
"Hey Lauren baby" she said drunkliy.
"Look you guys isn’t my daughter beautiful" she boasted.
Her husband eyed me lustfully sending chills up my spine. Reminding me of the worse night of my life. A night I tried so hard to forget and hope never happened again.
"Hey mom" I replied wondering where she got money to buy a forty dollar bottle of champagne and new clothes
I immediately took off to my room to see if my money was still tucked away in my dresser.
Pulling my drawer fully out I searched wildly for my savings. My heart beating rapidly I tossed the clothes to the floor until there was nothing left. No money. What I worked so hard for was gone. I checked all of the drawers thoroughly opening and slamming them until I had a pile of clothes in the middle of my room. I knew I would never see that money again. Furious I stormed out of my room back to where my mom was.
"Mom have you been in my room?" I asked trying to remain calm.
"Your room!" she yelled causing everyone to watch eagerly.
My mom was known for her notorious temper.
"You don’t pay any bills in this house!"she growled.
"I’m missing all of my money, did you take it?" I asked .
"I sure did !" she replied standing up.
"It’s about time you start paying some damn rent, what are you stripping like your sister now!"
My mom’s husband started to laugh which added fuel to the fire burning inside of me.
"So that’s funny Kenny" I shot him an evil look.
"How about you tell my mom about the other night" I yelled.
"What the hell are you talking about?" my mom glared at Kenny then back to me.
The guests’ eyes glued to the drama as if it were a soap opera.
"I don’t know what she’s talking about" Kenny snapped.
Tears stinging my eyes I couldn’t hold it in any longer.
"Kenny raped me mom" I cried.
My mom looked heartbroken. Walking over to me she studied the seriousness of my expression.
Slap!
I felt a stinging sensation across my right cheek.
Holding my face and looking in her eyes I could see her pain.
"You lying tramp!" Kenny growled.
Slap! My mother hit me again unexpectedly causing me to fall to the floor.
Wrapping her hand around my hair she began dragging me to the bedroom by my hair.
"Mom I swear it’s the truth!" I cried.
"You lying little *****!" she growled.
"You stay here until you learn to respect me and your step father!" she said breathless. Slamming my door so hard that the picture hanging on the wall fell to the floor.
Crying uncontrollably I curled into a fetal position on the floor. Starting to feel the affects of the rug burns on my knees and elbows. The emotional pain was far worse than the physical pain i endured. My mom had chosen her husband over me. My hurt turned to anger. Pulling myself up off the floor I examined myself in the mirror. I placed my hand in my hair to sooth my sore scalp when a patch of hair came out in my hand. My face was fiery red where my mom slapped me. I began crying feeling sorry for the reflection in the mirror.Feeling sorry for myself. I had enough. Emptying my school bag of it’s contents I replaced school books with as much clothes that my bookbag could take. Shoving my sister’s ID in my pocket I anxiously waited for my mother and her husband to fell asleep. I had no where to go, i just wanted to run far and run fast.
"Whenever you’re ready you’re just one click away from being in Hollywood" I heard my classmate Matt’s voice replay in my mind. I had nothing to lose. I was going to Hollywood and had no plans to come back

My husband and I are renting a room out in our apartment to someone. There are 3 stains in there and we don’t want to rent a rug doctor thats is a lot from what I have heard and we don’t have money to buy a machine. buy I do have a steam cleaner but you can put chemicals in it I don’t know if that would help. DO you know of anything that would get the stain out. its from our dog we cleaned it up at the moment but you can see little stains from it. PLEASE HELP

The home I just bought has laminate wood flooring in my family room. Whoever installed it didn’t pay attention to the colors of the kitchen cabinets, counter tops and wall paint. Money is tight. I do have an area rug to hide the floor, but it looks really tacky. Suggestions?

I got a daschund puppy from a pet store when he was 6 mos old, they told me that he had never seen the outside(which was awful) He is now about 10 months old and I have had the HARDEST time trying to house break him. I tried the crate training, by putting him in there when me or my boyfriend were not home, but he yelps and cries so loud that I have had animal control called on me. I take him out as often as can usually Twice b4 I go to work in the Morning and my boyfriend takes him out right after he gets out of work and throughout the rest of the day. we take him for long walks around the blocks and let hm stop and sniff wherever his nose brings him and nothing… maybe a Little "piddle" and that’s it, and the min. we get back to the house he pees on the rugs or my Kitchen floor or wherever?? I can’t Seem to effectively potty Train my puppy… and I fear that it’s getting too late… I have tried the puppy pads too and he won’t go on them or near them??

I also am having a hard time discipline him when he does something naughty, I use the crate as his "timeout" and I will usually leave him in there until he stops whining and crying to get out, but it’s not working, still have chewed shoes, carpets,and anything else he wants to chew-up, and he won’t leave my cat alone… I need some help… I want to take him to obedience classes but I don’t have the money to do so.. if anyone can give me some helpful pointers that would be awesome!!! Thank you!

I don’t have any money to rent a rug doctor or buy a steam cleaner is there any ther way to clean caprets

My 15 year old sister-in-law wants to change her bedroom design from a mostly leopard print theme to techno. I want to help her but I really don’t know what techno design for a room would look like. She doesn’t have alot of money to completely refurnish the room so items like her leopard print area rug, leopard print lamp shades and picture frames will have to be used. Any ideas or pictures would be great.

I have a 4 1/2 month old black lab. My husband and I got her freely from her previous owners because she was too energetic and scared their two year old toddler.

I have noticed that little "Marley" has two tiny/small patches on her right hind leg as well as a small patch above her right eye. Oddly enough, she does not seem to ever itch those two places on her body, or even bite them.

I have been doing some reading about mange and have talked to a few people (also dog owners) who have said that in puppies mild mange caused from stress is fairly common and corrects itself on its own.
Money is not an issue – I can afford to take her to a vet, but if puppy mange is fairly common, I would like to avoid a costly vet visit.

In short, I guess the question I am asking is: Does this sound like mange, and should I take her to a vet, or is this a puppy thing that could correct itself? Is there anything I can get from the store that might halt mange progression? If she got the mange from our living space, what can I do besides cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and washing rugs/carpet to make sure it does not pose further threat to her or us?

We have decided to do his room in airplanes and have have searched online for decorations but they cost alot of money. So I need some ideas on what I can do that will not cost alot.

Here is what we have:
1.Crib, bed set done in airplanes
2. 2 cute airplane pictures for the wall
3. The wooden letters of his name, to hang on the wall behind his crib.
4. a blanket with airplanes to hang on the wall
5. An airplane rug

I need ideas for like a lamp, I can’t find one with airplanes for under .00. And anything else you can think of. His roon is very bare. I am hoping to get a glider rocker at my baby shower to have in there.But other than that, I don’t know!

I have bedding, which I did buy off ebay. I got the bedding and the pictures there. That is all they had on ebay that didn’t cost alot. So I am basicly looking for ideas on stuff that I can make, so it will not cost alot. I don’t really care for the airplane theme, but I was able to get a 12 piece bedding set on ebay very, very cheap. So we went with that, but it seems that that kind of theme is quite costly to buy. So I would like to make some of the stuff if possible.
