I am looking for a new carpet to install on my 94" Ram 1500. I have found two good possibilities on two different sites but the price difference is making me question. Which carpet would be the best insulation wise? I can buy some carpet padding is necessary.

The previous owners in the house we just bought must have had big dogs since the entire carpet and padding in the master bedroom stinks, even after having two professional companies clean and put enzymes on it. We ended up ripping out the carpet which was full of urine stains and some must have leaked through the padding into the wood of the floor since you can see it. Our carpet guy suggested using Kilz paint before having someone put in new carpet, but I haven’t seen that written anywhere.

l am wanting to buy new carpet for my home and was wondering how you go about measuring up the rooms.l want to have a fair idea how much it will cost me before l call for a quote.

I am replacing the current carpet in the bed rooms. The new carpet thtat I am getting is stainmaster@ Kamaro, pulsh carpet, 46 oz face weight, 4.5 twist, solid color. The cost is .2 per sq ft and .8 per sq yard. This is Home Depot’s special price. Is this a good price?

For padding, Home Depot has two types of foam padding, one is .16 per sq ft, thickness is 1/2". The other one is .96 sq ft, the thickness is 7/16. What is your advice on which kind of padding to buy?

I bought a reptile carpet and its been in my cage for a few months becuase I havent had a enough money to get a leoprad gecko. the last week i spilled powder calcuim on it and brushed it off is it ok to use? I just want to know if I have to buy a new carpet or what? Thanks for your awnser!!!

We are going to be buying a house soon and want to put down new carpet. We dont want dark colors but we dont want white either. What color suggestions do you have?
Wood floor is very expensive compared to carpet. If you take care of it it still looks brand new 25yrs down the road. I have in laws that have had white carpet for 25yrs that looks brand new. Just stick to carpet suggestions please.

I just bought a brand new house last night and it has brand new burber carpet in it. I had my brother come over and we cooked hot dogs to celebrate the new home. I just bought a new home and we immediately tore out most of the carpet and put tile down. We did not even live on this carpet, so it is still new. I have a Bissell carpet cleaner however it wont spray the solution and water out but it will vacuum the water up. Do you think it would be ok to buy carpet cleaning solution and put it in a bucket filled with hot water ?Then I could just shampoo the carpet by hand. My carpet is 8 yrs old. Its dirty, I already hired some professional carpet cleaners but the dirty color is still there. It was a Cream color before, now its like brown-ish or something like that. Any suggestions? I do not want to buy new carpet, I dont have the money for that right now.
