Looking for info on rugs safavieh, home dynamix rugs, oriental area rug, gabbeh persian rugs and more?

I recently bought a government repo home. It has been vacant for at least a year to my knowledge. I have no pets of my own. I am looking for home remedies to clean pet and sugar stains out of carpet. I don’t want over the counter sprays because there are too many harmful chemicals and I do have 4 children. Can anyone help me?

My brother recently moved out, and his carpet was atrocious. There’s embed stains all over. Im currently trying vinegar and hot water, as the store bought cleaner isn’t working. What are some other tricks and tips to getting embed stains out of carpet?

was wondering what would be a better cleaner. I was going to use either the Rug Doctor products with the Rug Doctor Steamer or the Rug Doctor Steamer with the Bissell cleaners for major stains from dogs.

The additional problem is that the stains are in a general walk way and we have the added problem of people having walked on the rug – plain and simple.

I have tried using cleaners; but, am raising up my hands in defeat…can someone give me some
suggestions between the two as to which is the better?

I have a step dad who really doesn’t care about anyone or anything my mom married him when i was 6 months old she hates him now before they got married he lied to her and was a phony about everything
i have 4 older brothers but are now older and grown up i am turning 14 this month we had a family emergency with my grandmother and he was the only one here and i went with my mother one of my brothers picked me up from there and dropped me off at home and when i got home the house was a horrible mess there was poop all over the house from the animals our rabbits had no water for a long time the furniture was in a pile up at the tv there was stains all over the house i was gone a month and nobody had vacuumed since all of the other animals had no food when i got home i cleaned and cleaned and cleaned he never even said thank you for anything when i got home he never said anything to me and i never even saw him for a month and i got home he was eating a peaic of steak with his bare hands he wont let anyone turn the heat up passed 60 and i am freezing at night and day plus im sick my mom cry s every day thinking about it but she cant come home i cleaned there bathroom and my step dad had poop all over the toilet i cleaned IT he never said anything to me about it i scrubbed all the rugs i have done so much and he hasn’t said a word to me and while i am cleaning right after he turns it right back into a mess again i move the furniture back and he puts it back up to the tv everyday he comes home eats makes a mess in the house and then lays on his back and watches tv any time he gets food he will hide it like last night i came in the kitchen and every light was out i couldn’t even see my hand in front of my face i turn a light on hes on the couch eating ice cream he does that all the time i know what your all thinking why doesn’t his mom leave him well she cant we have no money at all only he does and he doesn’t even make enough to pay the bills or anything we just have a nice land lord but hes getting sick of us being short on rent so we might be getting kicked out please is there something we can do is this really abuse please help us

I have an 06 Saturn Ion. After delivering pizza for over a year I have noticed A LOT of stains (ie grease, dirt from the hotbags) and there is some pet urine, drink stains and an ink stain that just won’t come out of the floor and seats.

I’ve used Blue Coral, Turtle Wax Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner, Woolite, Oxy Clean, Laundry Detergent, Peroxide. Everything I can think of.

I went to 4 different detailing shops and they told me they wouldn’t be able to get the stains out, and the reason? They didn’t have one, and wouldn’t tell me why.

Does anyone know of a really good cleaner that is guaranteed to get rid of the stains that I have? It’s almost brand new and I want my car looking like it did when I bought it.

I am just not sure which one to get. I have narrowed it down to five. The only one I have ever bought broke after 2 uses and we returned it. I need something that is reliable and works really well with pet and kid stains in carpets. Here is what I have:

I would ask at a store, I just don’t want to be misled with the sales pitches. I just want an effective and reliable machine. Any suggestions?

Is there any shortcut/ trick to temporarily making woodfloors look nice until we can afford to refinish them? I bought large, new rugs & painted walls to detract. But the floors are in rough condition (stains and peeling off shellac/ bare spots) the wood is in tact–no holes/rot, just need refinishing. I am going to try to steamclean them tomorrow. Can I just put polyurethane or oil or something on them until next year or so? Cannot afford to sand, nor can we have dust all over the place.

Do you have any ideas how to remove these horrible stains off the carpet. I bought stain removers from the hardware store. However, they have not removed the stains. Has anyone had this problem and got rid of the stains. Many thanks. Your advise will truly help. Please dont tell me to get rid of the dog…he is my family and means more to me than my carpet.

I am trying to clean my carpet of a few Dog stains, I am using a black light to show them well, but thing shows all over. It is not in round spots like the urine, but like something was sprayed on the rug. Since I know the carpet has been animal free until mine (new Construction) I am stumped,
Bought an expensive urine, smell and Pheromone liquid. But will use it all on these phantom stains that may be a waste.

I bought a carpet cleaner at walmart, but i need the detergent to go into it to clean up puppy odors and stains. They are house broke now, but I can not stand the smell of dog urin in my apartment anymore. I need something pet friendly and safe since I am renting. Help please.

I have a dog who has gotten sick on my rug and it’s made stains in some areas. I have used resolve to get it off and that did not work. Then I tried using some shaving cream and letting that sit for a while and removing it but that also didn’t work. I also used this orange product and that of course didn’t work. I can’t afford a new carpet and would really like to get the stains out of this one. What is the best product to use as these stains have been there a few months?
