Looking for info on rugs safavieh, home dynamix rugs, oriental area rug, gabbeh persian rugs and more?

I need to find a matching set. Ebay= doesn’t have matching stuff.
And sanrio doesn’t have the needed things. Does anyone know where I can find a matching set with (Shower curtain, Soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, toilet seat cover, rug, towels, hand towel, wash clothes.)

To start, I am 14. For 14, I have a sophisticated, yet fun and interesting style.
I would like some people to help me find some rugs that you thing would look good with the following things: (I have a long room btw, bout 19 ft by 13 ft)

Colors: two shades of violet, the darker one is an accent color, couldn’t find a picture sorry, ceiling is very, VERY light gray

Thanks in advance oh and I would like it to be fairly big cuz i’m rearranging my room so the bed is all the way on the far wall and i would like the rug to go under it about 1 foot. (if this is confusing don’t worry about it) Lastly please don’t say something along the lines of " well you can easily find some nice ones at target or overstock" because i have been looking i am looking for suggestions for SPECIFIC rugs.

p.s. i know you would think all these colors and furnitures would be mismatched but it’s not
thanks i like the shag rug but it’s in pheonix and the other one is the size of a door mat no offense. i also do not want a chair.

I’ve been asked to assist with decorating the combination front office/reception area of a non-profit organization that works with people who have various disabilities.

The room is rectangular in shape, with neutral color walls and tile flooring. When you walk in, you are immediately in a small waiting area with a few chairs situated beneath the only window in the room. The window, which faces the parking lot, is large and rectangular shaped. It has white "industrial style" blinds over it.

Directly in front of this seating area is the receptionist’s desk, which is located near the right-hand wall. The desk is a grayish-white color and has a slightly modern/edgy look to it. The wall the desk is by is completely empty. Some shelving is needed there.

This space definitely needs a shot of color and personality! A rug could possibly be used in receptionist’s desk area, but can’t be used elsewhere in the room due to safety issues. It may be possible to paint one wall a different color than what’s already there. What color scheme, style of window covering, wall shelving and misc. accents would you suggest, and are there any office decorating web sites you might suggest that are along the lines of what you suggest? (I’m a very visual person and it helps me to have some things to look at for inspiration.)

I bought a 9×12 area rug at home depot about two weeks ago. When I unrolled it, the carpet gave off a pungent smell that is very much like the brine that olives soak in. After two weeks of being unrolled and in place in my bedroom, the smell is still so pungent that it has permeated my clothes. Does anyone know what this smell is and how I can get rid of it?

I am thinking of buying laminated flooring for my lounge.
I have carpet underlay which is in great condition
Should I spend the money on new laminate floor underlay or is it possible to use my current carpet underlay?
I don’t want it to be like the laminated floor moves when I step on it….. obviously Thanks in advance.

My bedroom has a light/mint green carpet and my furniture is a dark maple. I don’t have the money to replace the carpet so what color should I use to decorate? I need to paint the walls, buy curtains, bedding, etc…

Okay this may seem a little odd but, I’m probably moving into my sisters room but if i do i want to make it nice on a budget, so I thought it might be cheaper to make some curtains instead of buy some becasue there are no cheap nice ones.
so i was just wondering are they hard to make and how to you make them, like just breifly explain.
I was also going to buy some rugs to cover the floor.
any other ideas and opinions would also be useful.
