I went shopping @ walmart this morning i bought
1. milk
2. diapers
3. new bath rug
4. picture frame

6. jean shorts for my baby sz 3-6 months

9. jergens lotion

what did you buy?

I have tried all of the online resources, including places like Target, Walmart, J.C. Penney, Spencer’s Gifts. The online stores have solid beaded curtains but not in yellow. There is one that has circles and is in a "hippy type/60′s style". But I am looking for a more "Victorian type or middle-eastern type" door curtain. I am going to use it outdoors to separate my garden from the deck. I have a mad mad (outdoor rug) in blue, white, and yellow. I would like to continue this them with yellow as my accent color and my outdoor furniture is also yellow. Thanks for any help.

Im about to go to Walmart so i need a product that cleans carpets good and minimizes odors, and that i can buy at Walmart. Please make it quick im leaving in 5 min. Thank You

I love this area rug and it would be perfect for my dorm room but it’s a bit expensive. Any ideas on where I can find a similar one cheaper? I tried target, walmart and bed, bath and beyond.

We just got laminate flooring. It’s tongue and grove and looks like shiny cherry wood. We have a 5×7 area rug in the middle of the floor, it’s just a simple flat maroon area rug bought from Walmart.

Is there anything I can place underneath the area rug that won’t scratch the flooring and that will keep pet stains from seeping through to the laminate flooring.

I have a 16 year old dog and he pees everywhere and for some reason he’s fond of area rugs. I’ve pulled the carpet up to find that the pee has seeped through. Also because of the seepage I’m afraid of thoroughly cleaning the soiled area, such as with a carpet cleaner, because of the cleaners seeping down to the laminate.

I’m only level one so I can’t pick best answer, but thanks guys!! I may try the puppy pads first and then go to the carpet padding when I can get down to the hardware store.

Okay, so I am finally buying some new things for the house. we needs absoutly everything. Weve been useing the same handme downs for years. where would you start? I am talking basic walmart, nothing fancy. This is my list
Small/decorative stuff

kid furniture/storge
flat screen

you get the picture
so I only have about 0 to work with, more will come, but what to do first?? Thanks. Just a little confused

OK- here how it started. I went through my bookshelf and got rid of anything extra I didn’t need. I actually brought the books to work and gave them away. I ask my husband to go through his books- he refuses. We have a giant fight and I end up doing it for him and he throws a fit. He has books that are damaged, stained and disgusting… and he has all these books on religions and spiritual stuff- HE HATES religion and never goes to any type of church. So why keep them? This leads into a fight about these terrible african mask he has…. they were made in china and they are ugly. They have been sitting in the crawl space for 3 years and he goes banana’s when I ask if he is ready to part with them. He starts freaking out that everything is my stuff and I toss all of his. I toss a lot of mine but I owned a house and he only had an apartment when we met. He then started going on about how I tossed out his shelves- which were falling apart and in really bad shape. I even painted them and tried to reuse them but they fell apart. He then started comparing a lamp that I tossed that he paid from Kmart that was damanged to my 100 year old ,000 lamps that I replaced them with. I’ll let him buy anything he wants for the house- he picked out the living room rug… but that doesn’t count. He is obessed with holding on to trash from his single life. How do I deal with this? We are moving to a house 1/2 the size and my reasoning is- keep the $$$$$ get rid of the stuff from kmart, walmart and hand me downs. We don’t have room for all this junk- and I agreed to keep all his childhood toys and useless glass jugs that use to hold beer. He actually tried to compare my antique teacup collection to jugs that he got for free that use to hold beer in them.

He told me to sell the mask on ebay but flipped out again when I told him they were on there for like 99 cents- and I don’t think that his mask are from Africa- they are china rip offs. He starts flipping out- and I ask if he paid a lot of money for them- and he only paid a few bucks!
But then tells me I am expert on everything!!!!
What the HELL is his problem?

PS- I tossed (to give to goodwill) books out that were in langagues that neither of us speak!!!
He knows we can’t afford storage and just starts bitching.
Here is an example- I have a set of brand new dishes- his set is broken and mismatched. Which do you keep? It’s a no brainer for me but he keeps flipping out?
I have fine china for my hutch- I won’t put regular plates in there. I would never eat off of mismatch plates. TACKY!
I am getting rid of a lot of my stuff as well- but it’s worth $$$ so I have been selling it on ebay.

I’m a 13 year old girl and I want to re-do my room. I am kinda into the zebra thing, but not A LOT of zebra, just like the sheets, maybe a rug you know small things. I need ideas on stuff for my room; bedding, lamps, rugs and such. If you could find me a chandelier lamp that would be great. I don’t want any too girly ideas like ALL pink.

Like for instance, my mother has gotten new shower curtain and bath room rugs and things for her master bathroom. So…..the first few weeks or whatever, I felt fine now If I just go in their to do the business, like 10 mins after I come out I start itching and shaking and breaking out in little bumps like pimples. I don’t understand when I first seen the things in the bathroom, I felt Happy and the bathroom looks lovely. Now I’m itching on my Arms, Ankles, Legs and Knees. And if I keep itching, I start to break out in Pimple Bumps. And certain parts of the house I look at, I start to itch.

Back in 2005, I had a similar case to that. My Family and I were shooping at walmart and like 30 mins after we were in the store, my eyes started to burn then they started getting tight and I couldn’t see then, I got like Blotchy Bumps under my eyes next thing you know, I have huge Blotchy Areas on my arms and near my shoulders. OMG it was sooo painful. But I got treated for it.

Currently my twins’ nursery is just blah. I am now up against the challenge of creating a room for three little girls and 1 little boy (my poor son!). Right now we have this crib for my two daughters:

They are stilling sharing a crib and they do not mind. We do have another one still in the box but will be saving it for once they outgrow sleeping together. For the twins we opted not to purchase cribs yet because quite frankly we do not have enough room. We are figuring out how to section off some space to put in another small room to put either Salem and Miriam in there or Otis and Esmee in there. We won’t be doing that until Otis and Esmee are a few months old though because money is a bit tight.

We figured once they outgrow them we can just sell them or hand them off to someone else in the family and they weren’t expensive so it all worked out.

Like I said we are a bit tight on money so will be keeping the white walls. Luckily, we have gorgeous hardwood. I have been looking for some appliques or something to put on the walls and liven the room up a bit but haven’t found much. I also wanted to find a bright rug but haven’t been able to get out of the house and I have been a bit tired to even search online. I know, I’m being a bit lazy! But I figured all of you are probably more experienced in this nursery business. For Salem and Miriam I just stuck a dresser and crib in the room. Not very fun =(. LOL. I have to have the carpet in my apartment "professionally cleaned" before I move out. I can’t buy the machine from Walmart because my movers are moving out (out of state) on a Saturday, I am then cleaning the carpets on sunday/monday, and then give the keys over on monday afternoon. I won’t be able to take a carpet cleaning machine with me unfortunately if I were to buy it.

I bought these red rugs from walmart and I put them on my linoleum kitchen floor, they stained the floor yellow under the rugs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it out?
